Steven M. Sanders, MD, FAAOS

Steven M. Sanders, MD, FAAOS is a recognized authority in the field of orthopedic medicine whose Las Vegas based practice includes a primary focus shoulder and knee.   As a widely recognized expert in this field, Dr. Sanders conducts lectures on a variety of related topics, including joint replacements, on-the-job injuries, and arthritis.

Following his graduation with honors from the University of New York, Buffalo, with an undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, Dr. Sanders earned his Medical Degree from St. Louis University of Medicine in 1981. He went on to complete residencies in internal Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery, both from Northwestern University in Chicago.

He has held Fellowship positions at prestigious medical organizations in Surgical Arthritis and Clinical Trauma and is licensed to practice medicine in both California and Nevada. He is Board-Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is on the Clinical Faculty, orthopedic Surgery, at Valley Health Systems in Las Vegas.

Dr. Sanders is the official Team Physician for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and has also served in a similar role for other popular sports and entertainment organizations.
