Steven M. Sanders, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Steven M. Sanders is a recognized authority in the field of orthopedic medicine, with a Las Vegas–based practice specializing in shoulder and knee care. A widely respected expert, he frequently lectures on topics such as joint replacements, on-the-job injuries, and arthritis
Dr. Sanders graduated with honors from the University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Cell and Molecular Biology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1981. He then completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago.
He has held fellowship positions at several prestigious medical institutions, focusing on Surgical Arthritis and Clinical Trauma. Dr. Sanders is licensed to practice medicine in both California and Nevada. He is Board-Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and serves on the Clinical Faculty of Orthopedic Surgery at Valley Health System in Las Vegas.
In addition, Dr. Sanders is the official Team Physician for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and has provided similar services for other major sports and entertainment organizations.
